State of the Art

Over five years, from 2000 to 2004, the Artworks Awards rewarded exciting teaching in art & design, in which artists and works of art were the inspiration for teachers and young people aged up to 18. From 2001-2005, a new piece of research into art education was published each year. Five research publications are available: £2.68 (2001); The Big Sink (2002); Space for Art (2003); State of the Art (2004) and How Old Do You Have To Be To Be An Artist? (2005).
